Skyr is an Icelandic diary product that is based on the very old traditions of our country. It’s very rich of protein and some say it’s the major key in why our people are so big and strong. One of those people is Iceland’s all time football legend: Eiður Smári Guðjohnsen. In anticipation of the Euro 2016 I lead a team in creating a campaign for the nation’s leading diary company, MS, featuring the legacy of Eidur Gudjohnsen and how Icelandic pride (skyr) has guided him on the pitch in his career. We went along with Saga Film productions to Barcelona where Eidur lives and filmed a 90 sec legacy ad. It is my most challenging project to date and left me full of confidence to lead more difficult projects in the future. The ad also got screwed over in Áramótaskaupið.
