Nordic Wasabi, 2017
A local startup company, Wasabi Iceland, ordered a branding concept for the launch of their company that specialises in growing wasabi in a sustainable hydroponics system. They wanted two things: a brand for their company and a name/design for their wasabi product. The company was given the name Jurt Hydroponics (jurt = herb or plant in Icelandic) and their product claimed Nordic Wasabi. It was a fun creative process and through research I discovered a lot of things about wasabi that I know from my sushi dish.
